Model and thrift vendor known as Fems Thrift has reportedly broken down in court while recounting a prolonged legal battle over an alleged s3xu@! assault case involving a man she says attacked her and her friend during a fake modelling job invitation in Lagos.

In an emotional statement, she told the court she felt abandoned by the justice system after months of hearings, alleging that the suspect used violence and intimidation during the incident and later blackmailed them with private content taken from their phones.

“I don’t deserve this. We went to work and this guy assaulted us and threatened to kill us with a knife. He collected our nude photos/videos from our phones and blackmailed us with it. The police have all the evidence, yet they want to let him walk free, saying there’s no case.”

She further alleged that despite presenting evidence in court, including medical reports and other materials, the case has dragged on since February without resolution.

“The guy that assaulted me and my friend is about to walk free because the police are now saying there’s not much evidence against him. We have been going to court since February till date. We presented all the evidence, including the knife and doctor’s report. But the police are trying to use the court to drop the case and release him because of money.”

The case, which reportedly stems from an alleged fake modelling shoot in the Ajao Estate area of Lagos, has continued to generate public attention, with many online expressing concern over delays in prosecution and allegations of interference.
