The actor was further asked whether he had informed May of his plans to marry his current wife, and he said he wouldn’t delve into the matter. Edochie said the most important thing is that he wishes his ex-wife well and wants her to prosper. He noted that she is the mother of his children and mentioned that things happened while they were married, but that he is too much of a man to break down on the internet over it.

In a teaser for the interview, he revealed that he was 22 when he married May, and that they met while they were writing the GCE at a centre. Yul said a man shouldn’t be a fool for a woman and learn to set boundaries.

On Mother’s Day in March, Yul had shunned May as he celebrated his wife, Judy Austin and his mother.

Recall that Yul fell from grace to grass after his scandal with colleague, Judy Austin which wrecked his marriage to his wife of over a decade, May Edochie.

Their relationship led to Yul’s crashed marriage with his May as she filed for divorce from him, demanding N100 million from Judy, and had also filed a restraining order denying him access to their former matrimonial home, and had gotten full custody of the kids.

Yul and Judy have since started a family of their own and are blessed with three sons, Star Dikeh, Pete Ndubuisi and Universe Yul Edochie.

May’s lawyer, Emeka Ugwuonye, revealed that Yul doesn’t pay child support or his children’s school fees and that May takes care of their three children. He alleged that the actor told his daughter to meet her mother for her financial needs since she was making more money than he was.

Judy Austin had shed light on how she met her Yul Edochie, claiming that she met Yul years after her first marriage was dissolved in 2013.
