Nigerian rapper Ice Prince has opened up about his personal life, future plans, and recent physical transformation, revealing that he hopes to settle down and get married by the age of 40.
The music star made the disclosure during a recent interview with The Beat FM Lagos, where he reflected on his career, health, and what the next phase of his life could look like.
Speaking about his appearance, the Oleku crooner addressed speculation surrounding his noticeable weight loss, making it clear that his transformation was achieved naturally and not through the use of drugs or weight-loss medication.
“I didn’t use Ozempic for my weight loss. I have never used drugs or anything like that before,” he said.
Ice Prince explained that his lifestyle changes and personal discipline played a major role in helping him lose weight and maintain a healthier routine.
The rapper, whose real name is Panshak Zamani, also surprised fans by hinting that his upcoming music project could mark the end of an era in his career.
According to him, he is considering stepping away from releasing full albums after the next project.
“Honestly, I feel like this album I am about to drop will be my last album ever,” he stated.
Although he did not reveal the title or release date of the project, the comment has sparked conversations among fans, many of whom see him as one of the influential figures in Nigeria’s hip-hop scene.
Ice Prince rose to prominence in the early 2010s following the success of his breakout hit Oleku, which became one of the most celebrated songs of its time. Over the years, he has remained active in the music industry, releasing projects, collaborating with other artistes, and maintaining a loyal fan base across Africa.
Beyond music, the rapper also spoke candidly about his thoughts on relationships and marriage as he approaches a new chapter in life.
“I am going to be 40 years in about 3 years. Hopefully, when I am 40, I intend to get married,” he added.
Despite expressing interest in settling down, Ice Prince admitted that he is not currently focused on dating or actively searching for a partner. According to him, his attention remains fixed on achieving personal goals and building the future he envisions for himself.
The rapper’s comments have since generated reactions online, with many fans praising his honesty and maturity while others expressed surprise at his suggestion that he may stop making albums soon.
Over the years, Ice Prince has built a reputation not only as a rapper but also as a respected figure in the Nigerian entertainment industry. His influence helped shape modern Afrobeats and hip-hop collaborations, especially during the rise of contemporary Nigerian music on the global stage.
As fans await his forthcoming album, many are already speculating about whether it will truly be his final full-length project or simply the beginning of a new creative direction for the veteran artiste.
