Human rights activist Omoyele Sowore has criticised reports of a proposed N100,000 minimum wage by state governors, describing it as inadequate to meet the needs of Nigerian workers.
The reaction was contained in a statement shared on Sowore’s official page, where he argued that the proposed amount does not reflect the current cost of living in the country.
According to him, the wage proposal falls far short of what workers require to cope with rising economic pressures and basic living expenses....... .
