Counter-terror police in London arrested a 45-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman on suspicion of conspiracy to commit arson after a former synagogue in Whitechapel was targeted in a suspected arson attack last Tuesday. Police say the fire was intentionally started in the early morning hours, causing minor damage to gates and a lock at the front of the building. No injuries were reported.
