He stressed that the party should no longer .... be described as factionalized, as the Supreme Court has provided a definitive resolution to the dispute.
Wike further noted that the judgment reinforces the importance of strict adherence to party guidelines and legal procedures in resolving internal conflicts.
He maintained that no individual or group, ....regardless of influence, should act outside the framework of established rules.
The minister also commented on the actions of some prominent PDP figures previously linked to the rival faction, including Bala Mohammed and Seyi Makinde.
He expressed uncertainty about their political direction, particularly amid reports suggesting their involvement in meetings aimed at forming or aligning with opposition coalitions outside the PDP structure.
He questioned the rationale behind such moves, .... emphasizing that the PDP remains a major opposition platform and should ideally be the focal point for any collective political strategy against the ruling party.
Wike also suggested that some of the alternative political arrangements being explored by these figures may be dealing with their own internal challenges, which could affect their viability.
