The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Enugu State chapter, has announced the successful conclusion of its local government congresses across the 17 LGAs of the state, unveiling newly elected party chairmen ahead of preparations for the 2027 general elections.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the party said the congresses were conducted peacefully and led to the emergence of new executives at the grassroots level.
The party leadership congratulated all successful candidates and urged members, stakeholders, leaders, and aspirants to remain united and committed to the growth of the party in the state.
According to the statement, the timetable for activities leading to the 2027 general elections would be released soon.
