The Public Enlightenment Movement (PEM) has enlightened Kano public on projects executed by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu regime since it’s inception.
At a press conference in Kano on Thursday after a public display of documentary on the federal government’s projects in the north, the National Coordinator of the PEM, Nuhu Abdullahi Balarabe, stated that the initiative is delivering verified accounts of transformative development strides achieved in Northern Nigeria by this regime.
Several road projects linking various parts of the north with some southern states, across northern Nigeria, were displayed in the video documentary shown to members of the public.
The national Coordinator of the project told newsmen that the latest part of this enlightenment project underscores a massive leap in regional connectivity specifically through the ongoing work on the Ajingi-Jahu-Kafin Hausa road in Kano and Jigawa states.
“Under the strategic direction of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, this route is being overhauled to provide a seamless link for commerce, ensuring that our agricultural produce moves efficiently from farm to market. Similarly, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has prioritized the dualization of the Minna-Bida Road in Niger State, a project that serves as a vital artery for the region, engineered to drastically reduce transit times and safeguard the lives of travelers.
“Furthermore, within the framework of the Renewed Hope Agenda, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has accelerated the completion of the Kaduna Western Bypass. This intervention is a direct response to the needs of the surrounding communities and the thousands of Nigerians travelling to and from the Federal Capital, who will now enjoy a smooth and motorable passage.
“In Niger State, the previously neglected Shiroro Road has undergone comprehensive repairs under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, significantly shortening travel distances and restoring economic vitality to the area.
“In the health sector, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has achieved a historic milestone with the establishment of the world-class Cancer Centre at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Katsina. As one of only three such top-notch facilities founded by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu nationwide, this center is equipped to rival international standards while remaining affordable.
“It represents a bold step by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to ensure that cutting-edge oncology care is no longer a luxury, but a right for every Nigerian. Additionally, we are proud to announce that the Sokoto-Badagry Superhighway is making unprecedented progress under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“Spanning six states, this corridor is not just a road; it is a smart infrastructure project. Under the guidance of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, completed sections are now being integrated with streetlights and CCTV surveillance, ensuring that security keeps pace with development,” he stated.
Balarabe, a former presidential aide explained that the project detailed in the briefing were a testament to the wider national transformation led by President Bola Ahmad Tinubu.
“While this update focuses on Northern Nigeria successes. It reflects the broader commitment of President Bola Ahmad Tinubu to building a resilient interconnected and healthy Nigeria for all,” he added.
