Former Anambra State Governor and 2027 presidential hopeful under the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has once again made headlines after donating ₦10 million for the reconstruction of a fire-damaged primary school in his hometown.
Obi made the donation during a visit to Practising Primary School in Agulu, Anambra State, where he expressed concern over the destruction caused by a fire incident that affected one of the school’s historic buildings.
The school, which was established in 1922, has reportedly produced generations of pupils over the decades before the recent fire outbreak damaged part of its structure.
