Popular social media commentator Seaking has publicly called out Yoruba Nation agitator Sunday Igboho over the continued insecurity and kidnappings in parts of the South-West.
In a post circulating online, Seaking questioned Igboho’s silence despite his past promises to confront banditry and criminal activities in Yorubaland.
“Where’s Sunday Igboho? You vowed to ‘eradicate’ the bandits. You promised to lead 50,000 men. Now you’re back in Yorubaland, but the kidnappings haven’t stopped. So where is the action? Silence after a presidential pardon isn’t bravery, it’s politics,” Seaking wrote.
The statement has since sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some users supporting the criticism while others defended Igboho, arguing that tackling insecurity is primarily the responsibility of government security agencies.
Sunday Igboho became a prominent figure during heightened tensions over insecurity in the South-West, where he gained attention for his campaigns against alleged criminal elements operating in the region.
