Skip the popcorn: AMC just rolled out pizza, pickles and corn poppers as part of its theater menu

Movie theatre concessions now go beyond the typical bucket of popcorn.

AMC Theatres, the world’s largest theater company, is expanding its menu to include new hot foods, sweet snacks and savory treats, AMC said in a press release.

The beloved cinema chain will now serve up new hot food options, including popcorn chicken bites, hot honey sausage pizza, dill pickle pretzel bites and other premium snacks.

The beloved theatre chain’s Feature Fare menu is available at more than 400 locations across the U.S.

“AMC Feature Fare continues to evolve beyond traditional movie theatre concessions with a growing lineup of hot foods, savory snacks, sweet treats and limited-time offerings inspired by popular food trends and guest demand,” the company said.

The new Feature Fare additions include:

The updated menu will also add several new premium snacks to theaters, including Cheez-It Snack Mix, Pringles Mingles Jalapeno Queso and Snickers Peanut Butter Ice Cream bar, the company said.

“The AMC Feature Fare menu is always evolving as we explore fun new opportunities and listen to our guests about what they most enjoy while watching a movie on the big screen,” said Hank Green, Senior Vice President, Food & Beverage. “With new additions like Street Corn Poppers, Hot Honey Sausage Pizza, and Dill Pickle Pretzel Bites, we’re continuing to build a menu that gives our guests more variety, more flavor and more reasons to treat themselves when they come to the movies.”

The changes come not long after AMC announced it would offer a brand new live experience for music lovers. In a partnership with live entertainment company Arena One, AMC will be bringing live-streamed concert events to local cinemas across America, starting this summer.

The first interactive, real-time concert events are set for this summer: “I’m Good (Blue)” singer Bebe Rexha on June 17, Paris Hilton on June 18, “Unholy” musician Kim Petras on June 19 and country-pop star Maren Morris on June 20.

More artists and dates are expected to be announced at a later date.
