A explosive viral video currently trending across Nigeria has captured widespread attention after a Fulani herder openly declared that he has no fear for soldiers, policemen, or Amotekun operatives.…....
In the widely shared clip, which has already garnered millions of views on TikTok, X, Instagram, and WhatsApp, the herder stated clearly:“I am not afraid of soldiers. I am not afraid of police. I am not afraid of Amotekun. The only person I fear is Sunday Igboho.”
He went further, admitting that some Yoruba people are his friends, but stressed that Sunday Igboho “does not play with them” and does not tolerate any misconduct from criminal elements among the herders.
The video has sparked intense reactions, especially in the Southwest, with many Nigerians suggesting that traditional rulers and governors in the region should consider handing over the management of Fulani herder-related issues to Sunday Igboho.
Comments have flooded social media platforms:
“If security forces can’t handle it, let Igboho take charge!”
“This herder just confirmed what many have been saying – Igboho is the real fear factor.”
Others warned that such ethnic narratives could heighten tension in an already sensitive region.
The development has reignited debates about farmer-herder clashes, rural insecurity, and the effectiveness of formal security agencies in addressing banditry and encroachment issues in Yoruba land.
