In a video posted on social media, the man recounted how he had woken up in the morning with plans to use his motorcycle, only to find it missing.
According to him, the thieves had forced their way into his compound by cutting the gate and padlock, leaving him with nothing but shock and disbelief.
“They took the bike and left the key for me,” he lamented, visibly frustrated and distressed. “I woke up this morning to check on my bike, and I did not see it again. This bike has been the only thing helping me. It’s expensive—around 1.7 million Naira!”
The man further pleaded with anyone who might have information on the perpetrators to assist in recovering the stolen motorcycle. He also expressed a desire for the thieves to return the bike, even jokingly suggesting they could demand a ransom, just so he could get his property back.
