Tinubu Crushes Rival in Anambra APC Presidential Primary, Polls 43,034 Votes

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has secured a resounding victory in the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Primary Election held in Anambra State, overwhelmingly defeating his challenger, Mr. Osifo Osayamen Stanley.

Official figures released at the conclusion of the exercise showed that President Tinubu garnered an impressive 43,034 votes, while Osifo Osayamen Stanley recorded 383 votes, underscoring the President’s firm grip on the party’s support base in the state.

The primary election, which attracted enthusiastic participation from APC delegates and stakeholders across Anambra State, was supervised by Distinguished Senator Uche Ekwunife, CON, who served as the Coordinator and Collation Officer of the APC Presidential Primary Election Committee in the state.

Observers described the exercise as orderly, peaceful, and transparent, with adequate security arrangements ensuring a hitch-free process throughout the exercise.

Reacting to the outcome, party leaders and stakeholders commended the maturity displayed by participants and attributed the massive votes recorded by President Tinubu to growing confidence in his leadership style and the Renewed Hope agenda of his administration.

They also praised Senator Uche Ekwunife for her effective coordination and administrative competence, noting that her experience and leadership contributed significantly to the successful conduct of the primary election without major controversies or disruptions.

Political watchers believe the outcome of the exercise will further consolidate the APC’s growing influence in Anambra State and strengthen the party’s political prospects in the South-East ahead of future electoral engagements.
