A disturbing video currently making rounds online has sparked widespread reactions after two construction workers reportedly fell from the rooftop of a building while fighting at a construction site.…....
In the viral clip, the workers were seen aggressively exchanging blows on top of an unfinished building before they suddenly lost balance and crashed to the ground below.
According to reports circulating online, one of the workers, identified as the man wearing an orange outfit, allegedly landed on top of his colleague (Toheeb) during the fall, leading to the Toheeb’s instant death.
The shocking incident has triggered debates online about workplace safety and the importance of conflict management at construction sites.
Reacting to the video, one social media user condemned the lack of safety measures at the site, stressing that allowing workers to operate at such heights without proper protective equipment was negligence.
The user wrote, “Having people work at that height without proper PPE is pure negligence. The people standing there should have also stepped in before things got out of hand.
“Our artisans need proper safety orientation. The way and manner many unsafe acts are carried out, especially on construction sites, is alarming.
“Building owners and contractors should prioritize safety and make PPE mandatory for every worker on site. In fact, it should be included as a compulsory requirement in the contract from the very beginning. This was an avoidable death. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.”
Another user reflected on the possible consequences of the incident for the surviving worker, writing:
“His eyes (orange suit) will suddenly clear and shine like a halogen lamp. The stubbornness and anger will vanish. Flashbacks of his good memories and freedom will flood his mind and he’ll start regretting his actions.
“He’s caused deep sadness for the families — those mourning the dead and those imagining prison visits to their father or husband. Avoid physical violence; it never leads to anything good.”
Reacting, one @Tickles00 stressed, “Everything is wrong with this video. From the way the others handle the situation to the dude on white almost pushed them down. A lot of recklessness from all of them.”
