A wedding in Imo State was called off after the groom reportedly found an old social media photo of his fiancée smoking cannabis, also known as “Canadian Loud.”…....
Sources said the groom saw the photo while checking his fiancée’s old Facebook posts a few days before the wedding.
The discovery caused tension between both families. Arguments followed, and no agreement was reached before the wedding date.
The bride explained that the photo was from her past. She said she had changed and asked the groom to judge her by who she is now, not by old mistakes.
Despite her plea, the groom refused to go ahead with the marriage.
Family members from both sides tried to settle the issue, but their efforts failed. The wedding was eventually cancelled.
