Reality TV star and entertainer Whitemoney has revealed a conversation he had with his grandmother concerning former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi.
Taking to social media, Whitemoney shared that his grandmother, who he described as a strong supporter of Peter Obi, sent him a video on WhatsApp expressing concern about the politician’s public movements and security.
According to him, she mistakenly believed he personally knew Peter Obi and questioned why the former presidential candidate exposed himself publicly without tighter security.
Whitemoney quoted his grandmother as saying:
“My grandmother happens to be a big supporter of almost everyone’s favourite presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi. She sent me this👇 video on WhatsApp thinking I know Peter Obi personally, asking me, ‘Why is Mr Peter Obi exposing himself like this in public? Does he think he’s the only humble person? He needs to protect himself. He’s the only hope we have.’”
The statement quickly sparked reactions online, with many Nigerians debating Peter Obi’s simplicity, accessibility, and security concerns.
