Popular Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has revealed why he allegedly turned down a one-million-dollar offer to join Mavin Records.…....
The rapper disclosed this in a short post shared on his official X handle, where he opened up about the reason behind his decision.
According to Blaqbonez, one of the major factors that influenced his choice was his dislike for being overly active on social media or constantly engaging fans online.
He suggested that such demands may come with being signed to a major record label, something he felt did not align with his personality and preferred lifestyle.
He wrote,l, “Need to get this off my chest before chanel drops, the reason I didn’t sign to mavin when they were begging me with a million dollars is cos i don’t really like posting, I prefer 1 tweet per year than engaging my fans, I’m too big for that, I’m mysterious.”
This is coming after Blaqbonez and singer Asake released a new song today, May 22nd, 2026, titled, “Channel”
Following the release of the new track from the two singers who both studied at Obafemi Awolowo University, the song has reportedly generated high replay value from music lovers.
