Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has taken a swipe at Yul Edochie following his recent remarks about his estranged wife, May Edochie.
During an appearance on The Honest Bunch Podcast, Yul suggested that certain actions from May may have contributed to his decision to enter another marriage. He maintained that he is willing to be seen as the “villain” in the situation, while also stating that he bears no ill will toward his ex-wife and wishes her success. According to him, she remains the mother of his children, adding that issues occurred during their marriage, but he would not resort to public emotional outbursts.
Reacting to his comments, Sarah Martins criticized what she described as a contradiction in his statement. She argued that while he claimed to wish May well, his comments on the podcast could still influence public opinion against her by implying she played a role in his actions.
She further accused the actor of being bitter over May’s progress and questioned the purpose of his interview, suggesting that jealousy may be driving his repeated comments about the situation.
