In an emotional post on Facebook, Nurse Joyce narrated how what was meant to be a refuge for a struggling family became a source of distress.
The medic revealed how a recent act of kindness had spiralled into a nightmare after she had publicly offered a free home to someone in need just days earlier.
A woman reportedly contacted her, explaining that she was a widow struggling to care for her five children after losing her husband.

Moved by the story, Joyce said she reached out to the woman personally and eventually allowed her and her children to move into the property. However, the situation took an unexpected turn.
“This morning I am devastated,” Joyce wrote. “I feel like taking the next flight and going to fight someone.”
She claimed she had since been informed that the woman’s supposedly deceased husband was alive and had moved into the property.
According to Joyce, the man had allegedly begun cutting down trees on the land and selling them without her permission.
The problems did not end there. Joyce further alleged that the woman’s sister, together with her three children, had also moved onto the compound.
She claimed the sister occupied another house on the property despite not receiving approval to do so.
“The home is in chaos,” she lamented.
Adding to her frustration, Joyce said her attempts to contact the woman had been unsuccessful, alleging that her calls were being ignored and that she had eventually been blocked.
The nurse also expressed disappointment after reportedly seeking help from local authorities.

“The chief says he cannot help,” she stated, before asking followers for advice on what steps she should take next.
Her story sparked widespread reactions, with many sympathising with her predicament, while others urged her to pursue legal channels rather than making a costly trip back to Kenya.
For Joyce, what began as an effort to provide shelter to a family she believed was in desperate need has left her questioning how to resolve a situation she never anticipated.
Now, she is weighing her options as she seeks a way to regain control of the property and bring order back to the home she had hoped would provide a fresh start for someone in need.
