One woman was standing while the other sat on a curved metal barrier directly opposite the man, who was seated next to a fuel pump.

The woman sitting on the barrier looked to her right after her attention was drawn by the screeching of an approaching car, interrupting their conversation.

The three barely had time to react before the speeding sedan veered towards them and slammed into their position, as seen in the CCTV footage.
“A violent crash at a fuel station in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, left three workers seriously injured after a sedan lost control and ploughed into them on Saturday afternoon. CCTV footage from the scene shows the car speeding along Los Alcaldes Street before veering off and hitting employees who were standing near the fuel pumps,” the post read.
The attendant who had been sitting on the barrier jumped toward the man, who embraced her in an apparent attempt to protect them from the oncoming danger.
Fuel dispenser sparks fire
However, they were struck by the sedan, which only came to a stop after the impact. The three workers were thrown to the ground near the fuel pump.
The two female attendants appeared able to move and walked away from the scene, while their male colleague remained helpless on the ground.

The driver stepped out of the vehicle and immediately walked towards the injured attendant. He attempted to remove debris and assist him after the crash.
“The impact damaged a fuel dispenser and sparked a fire, which was later brought under control, according to local reports. All three workers were taken to hospital with serious injuries. Public anger has focused on what happened after the crash. The driver is seen stepping out of the wrecked vehicle, walking over to one of the injured men on the ground, lifting him, and then dropping him back down,” the post continued.
