CDCFIB Releases List Of Successful Applicants In Paramilitary Recruitment CBT, Sets June 15–20 For Status Check

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board has released the names of successful applicants who participated in the November 2025 online Computer-Based Test for the ongoing board and paramilitary recruitment exercise.

The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Saturday in Abuja by the Secretary to the Board, retired Maj.-Gen. Abdulmalik Jibril.

The recruiting agencies under the exercise include the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, the Nigerian Correctional Service, the Federal Fire Service, the Nigeria Immigration Service, and the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board.

Jibril said successful applicants in the 2024/2025 paramilitary recruitment exercise are to proceed to the next stage, which involves physical screening and document verification.

According to him, applicants who took part in the online CBT held in November 2025 are expected to visit the Board’s official recruitment portal, https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng, between June 15 and June 20, 2026, to verify their status.

He said applicants must log in with the application number generated during their initial registration.

“Applicants are required to log in using the application number generated at the time of initial registration,” the statement said.

Jibril added that shortlisted applicants will be required to upload their credentials and select their preferred date and venue for the physical screening exercise.

He advised applicants to carefully follow all instructions provided on the recruitment portal.

The Board also warned that the recruitment exercise is completely free and that applicants should not pay money to any individual, agent, group or organisation claiming to assist with shortlisting, venue allocation, document upload, access to screening venues or final selection.

“The general public is advised to ignore fake recruitment messages, fraudulent links and unauthorised persons claiming to represent the Board,” Jibril said.

He stressed that all official updates on the recruitment process will be communicated only through the CDCFIB recruitment portal and approved official communication channels.

Jibril assured Nigerians that the Board remains committed to conducting the recruitment exercise in a transparent, credible and merit-based manner, in line with the rules guiding recruitment processes.
