D. English Alhaji has reacted to a viral image allegedly showing armed bandits sheltering around what appears to be a government-owned school, describing the situation as a reflection of Nigeria’s worsening security challenges.
In a post shared on social media, he lamented the impact of insecurity on affected communities, stating that many residents have been displaced from their homes, children have been deprived of access to education, and families have been pushed further into poverty.
He argued that the realities faced by communities affected by insecurity should not be dismissed as political rhetoric but acknowledged as humanitarian concerns requiring urgent attention.
“These are not just statistics; they are people’s lives,” he wrote, while offering prayers for peace and safety across the country.
