The Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, BVAS has failed to recognise the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Enugu North Senatorial bye-election, Ikeje Asogwa.
He was unable to complete accreditation at his Iheaka Polling Unit 003 in Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area.
The candidate declined to comment on the development when approached by journalists at the polling unit.
The incident adds to concerns over technical and logistical challenges reported in some areas as the bye-election progresses across the senatorial district.
