Family members, friends, colleagues, and sympathisers gathered in Arochukwu, Abia State, on Thursday to receive the remains of late Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo ahead of his funeral ceremony.
Among those present were actor IK Ogbonna, members of the entertainment industry, close associates, and loved ones who came to pay their final respects as the actor’s body arrived in his hometown.
Videos from the solemn event showed mourners gathered in large numbers as Ekubo’s remains were received, marking the beginning of the final rites for the beloved actor.
