Sanwo-Olu made the endorsement in a statement posted on his X handle, where he formally presented Hamzat as the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the forthcoming election and Sonayon-James as his running mate.
“Today, I present a ticket that reflects the strength, diversity, and future of our great state,” the governor wrote.
According to him, sustainable governance is anchored on the ability to transfer leadership to competent hands with the vision and capacity to build on existing progress.
