Heartbreak as missing 3-year-old girl is found dead on neighbour's rooftop in Kayole

A family in Kayole, Nairobi county, has been thrown into mourning following the tragic death of their three-year-old daughter, Tinsley Wamuyu.

Tinsley went missing on Saturday, June 13, at around 6:15 pm near Soweto Stage 20, past Kioi Stage, leaving her family in deep distress and uncertainty.

At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a blue zip-up sweater, a white top with heart-shaped designs, and white Crocs.

Missing Kayole girl found dead

Barely 48 hours later, the little girl’s lifeless body was discovered on the rooftop of an apartment building near her home.

Family members, who had mobilised an online search campaign in a desperate bid to find her, later shared the heartbreaking news of her death, sparking an outpouring of condolences and sympathy online.

“We found our baby, but she was already dead. Some people in this world are very wicked. She was just a pure, innocent soul who had no quarrel with anyone. Why did you do this to us? The pain is unbearable, wallahi,” said Marriam.

Circumstances surrounding her death were yet to be revealed by press time.
