American rapper Nicki Minaj has opened up about why she stopped attending church regularly.
Speaking in a recent episode of the Bryce Crawford Podcast, she explained that her decision was linked to the demands of her music career, which intensified after she became successful.
According to her, the change was not based on a shift in belief or ideology, but on her increasingly busy schedule as a performer.
“Once my career started taking off, I stopped going to church. I was working on Friday nights and Saturday nights, so the last thing I could do was wake up on Sunday mornings to go to church,” she said.
Despite no longer attending church as before, she emphasized that her relationship with God remains intact. She explained that her faith is still an important part of her life.
Minaj also admitted that consistency in her spiritual life has been a challenge, but she continues to try to improve and stay grounded in her beliefs.
She added that her faith continues to grow as she evolves both personally and professionally.
