The Grand Mufti of Yoruba land, Sheikh Daood Molaasan, has criticised comments attributed to activist Sunday Igboho, in which he suggested he could confront armed bandits if given the opportunity.
Sheikh Molaasan questioned the credibility of such public claims, arguing that individuals with genuine capacity to deal with armed groups would not need to announce it beforehand.
