Nigerian rapper and singer Speed Darlington is lamenting over his single status.
On his Twitter page, Darlington lamented over how he is turning 60 soon, and yet isn’t marry, and has no children. He said he questions whether this is how he wants to live his life, with no family.
The comic rapper said all he has is American papers, which can’t satisfy him and aren’t worth more than having a family. Speed said he wants a family, freedom, and respect.
“I will be 60, and I have never married, no children. Anytime I see a girl I like, a thought comes to my head, ‘Shey na like this I wan live my life’. All I have to show is that I have American papers. Fuck that, I want family, freedom and respect”
Two years back, the Controversial rapper revealed that he had finally found his wife. Sharing photos of him and his missing rib, he uniquely quoted the Bible, saying, “He who finds a good woman finds a good woman.”
The rapper had listed the qualities he wanted in a wife, revealing that he wanted to marry a virgin. He further listed his qualities and what he has to offer to his future wife as he urged ladies to apply
Taking his search for a wife to another level, he had erected a signboard in his village, with his picture and his requirements for a partner. He made it known that his hunt for a wife isn’t a joke, as many think, as he is serious about settling down.
Darlington had blamed Patoranking for his loss of interest in actress Nancy Isime. The US-based singer claimed before he showed interest in Nancy, Patoranking never looked her way, but right after he posted her photos on his social media pages, she suddenly became attractive to him, which led him to lose attraction for her.
Recall that when the news of DJ Cuppy’s failed engagement broke out, Speed Darlington queried if the disc jockey married for love and not peer pressure from her father. He hoped Cuppy didn’t rush her relationship to outdo her sister, Temi Otedola, who is now married to singer Mr Eazi.
