Residents were left in shock after a 200-level university student, who had been declared missing for two days, was found lying along a roadside in a distressed and vulnerable condition.
According to a close friend who spoke to reporters, the student had informed her roommate that she was going to visit an older acquaintance she had been communicating with. The roommate explained that this was the last known information about her whereabouts before she went missing. watch video
“She told me she was going to see the man she has been talking to. After that, we didn’t hear from her again. Her phone was not reachable, and we were worried because she didn’t return for two days,” the roommate said.
Concern grew among friends and family when repeated attempts to contact her failed. A missing person report was subsequently raised.
She was later discovered by passersby along a roadside, disoriented and in a vulnerable state. Residents quickly alerted authorities and assisted in getting her medical attention.
