NBBF Lauds Mike Brown, OG Anunoby On Historic NBA Finals Game 4 Victory

The Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF), under the leadership of President Engr (Dr). Ahmadu Musa Kida, has congratulated former D’Tigers Head Coach, Mike Brown and New York Knicks star, OG Anunoby, following their remarkable Game 4 victory in the 2026 NBA Finals.

The Knicks produced one of the most memorable performances in NBA Finals history, rallying from a 29-point deficit to defeat the San Antonio Spurs 107-106 and move within one victory of securing the NBA Championship. Anunoby, whose parents are Nigerian, delivered a stellar performance and capped the comeback with the game-winning basket in the closing seconds.

NBBF President l, Musa Kida, praised both men for their achievements and their continued impact on the global growth of basketball.
