NDLEA Arrests Businessman Over 6.10kg Cocaine Concealed in Shirts and Towels

NDLEA officers have arrested a businessman after finding 6.10kg of cocaine hidden in shirts and towels that came in from Brazil.

The drugs were discovered during routine screening at the airport, carefully starched and stitched inside the clothing to avoid detection. The suspect is now in custody.

The agency says this bust shows how traffickers keep changing their methods, but NDLEA’s checks at entry points are keeping up. Investigations are ongoing to uncover others involved in the shipment.

Officials warn that the crackdown on drug smuggling will continue across all airports and borders.
