NJFP 2.0 Opens Kogi Registration for Employers and Fellows 2026 Programme

The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP) 2.0 has commenced registration for employers and fellows in Kogi State ahead of its 2026 engagement programme aimed at connecting young graduates with organisations for placement and career development opportunities.

The programme, led by the Federal Government of Nigeria with support from the European Union (EU) and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), is designed to strengthen youth employability through practical work experience, mentorship, and workplace exposure.

According to information released for the Kogi engagement, the NJFP 2.0 Employers and Fellows Engagements will focus on matching qualified young Nigerians with credible employers across both public and private sectors in the state.

Organisers said the initiative will create opportunities for interviews, matching, and placements while also helping employers access skilled young talents for their organisations.

“The NJFP 2.0 Kogi Employers & Fellows Engagements, 2026 is designed to connect talented young graduates with credible organisations across Kogi State for interviews, matching, and placement opportunities,” the organisers stated.

The programme is also expected to deepen conversations around youth employment, skills development, and workforce readiness in Kogi State as engagements run between June 10 and June 12, 2026.

Promotional materials released for the programme showed that the initiative will focus on engaging young people, connecting with employers, and driving conversations in the media around opportunities available for graduates.

NJFP 2.0 is part of broader efforts by the Federal Government, the EU, and UNDP to address unemployment among Nigerian youths by providing structured work experience that improves career growth and long-term employability.

Applications are currently open for interested fellows who meet the eligibility requirements. Applicants must be Nigerian citizens, 30 years old or younger, have completed NYSC, and possess either a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower or an HND with Upper Credit.

Applicants are also expected to have graduated not earlier than 2022 and must currently be unemployed at the time of application.

The organisers described the fellowship as a fully paid 12-month programme created to equip young Nigerians with practical industry experience while supporting career advancement.
