According to a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Patrick Ebojele, the former governor commended the Okpebholo administration for restoring sanity and improving security in the state.
“I stand here to fully endorse the declaration by the Governor of Edo State. We are in a federation where every state has the right to enact laws prescribing punishment for offences within its jurisdiction. Therefore, kidnappers and bandits will face the death penalty by firing squad,” Oshiomhole said.
