Nairobi, Kenya: Mary Claire Ochieng, the woman who was viciously attacked with acid, has shared that her lover, Elvis, never paid her school fees at any time.
Claire recently came out for the first time after the heinous crime was committed against her, and she shared her story about what started happening way before March 2026.
According to the 25-year-old, her estranged boyfriend orchestrated the attack after she ended their relationship after learning that he was married with two children.

Claire shared chilling WhatsApp messages in which the suspect allegedly professed his love while also threatening that “only death” would separate them.

According to the gospel singer, there were allegedly seven attacks, and three of them were acid-related. The two met in 2019, and they started dating three years later.

“By the time I was meeting him, I was already on campus, and I was a government-sponsored student, and my family could manage the rest for the entire four years,” she said.
“In April, I decided to leave the relationship completely in January 2026,” she said.
