The Ghana Education Service (GES) has removed the Assistant Headmaster (Academic) of KNUST Senior High School, Charles Akwasi Aidoo, following the circulation of a viral video that allegedly showed him in a compromising situation with a female student.

In a statement, GES confirmed that it had taken immediate action by relieving the official of his duties and barring him from accessing the school premises pending the outcome of a full investigation.

“Mr. Aidoo has already been removed from office and prohibited from going to the school while thorough investigations are being carried out,” the statement said.
GES further assured parents, guardians, and stakeholders that due process would be followed and that any disciplinary measures would be guided by the provisions of the Ghana Education Service Code of Conduct.
