A member of the House of Representatives, Dachung Bagos, has absolved Nigerian youths of blame for what is often perceived as their limited interest in governance and public affairs.
According to him, young people are not adequately informed because critical information about governance is not readily available in the public space.
The lawmaker, who represents Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency, warned that the country risks losing its gains if the younger generation is not made to understand the struggles that shaped the nation and prepared to receive the baton of stewardship from current leaders.
