Popular Nigerian streamer Peller has stirred reactions online after appearing to throw shade at Afrobeats superstar Davido over his alleged cold response to his wedding invitation.
In a video making the rounds on social media, Peller expressed frustration over what he described as the attitude of some celebrities he invited to his wedding, accusing them of ignoring him after benefiting from their association with him.
Peller calls out celebrities
Speaking in the viral clip, Peller said some of the celebrities he invited had continued to postpone giving him a response.
“See, let me tell you guys something. I swear, you see these big big celebrities that I am sending invitation for my wedding, that you are doing like come tomorrow, no next tomorrow. Ignoring my wedding invitation after using me, I’ll surprise all of you,” he said.
Takes swipe at Davido
Although he did not mention Davido by name, Peller appeared to refer to the singer by his popular nickname, “001.”
“I will not talk anything, especially you sir Zero Zero One (001), you’re just a user, a big user. My wedding day Aug. 1 will shock all of you,” he added.
The video has since gone viral, sparking mixed reactions from social media users, with many speculating that the comments were directed at Davido because of his “001” nickname.
