The Corporate Affairs Commission has commenced another round of striking off companies from its register, with 100,000 companies listed as affected under Batch 6 of the exercise.
The Commission announced the development in a public notice dated July 15, 2026, stating that the action is being taken pursuant to Section 692(3) and (4) of the Companies and Allied Matters Act, 2020.
According to the CAC, the list of the affected companies can be accessed on its official website at www.cac.gov.ng.
The Commission advised all affected companies to take urgent steps to file all outstanding annual returns and regularise their records within 90 days of the notice.
It added that companies are also required to update their Persons with Significant Control and Beneficial Ownership information as part of the regularisation process.
The CAC directed affected companies to send evidence of compliance to the designated email address: [email protected].
The Commission warned that companies that fail to comply within the stipulated 90-day period will be struck off the register without further notice.
The notice reads in part: “The affected companies are hereby advised to take steps to file all outstanding Annual Returns and regularize their records within ninety days of this notice. Evidence of compliance should be sent to the designated email.”

The Commission said the exercise forms part of its statutory responsibility to maintain an updated and credible companies register.
It also reaffirmed its commitment to providing prompt and efficient registration and regulatory services to customers.
