Nigerian social media is currently buzzing after content creator Caramel Plug publicly called out actress Anita Joseph, alleging that she photoshopped her face onto one of Caramel’s photos.
According to Caramel, Anita Joseph posted a picture four days ago with a caption suggesting that a woman cannot submit and be in survival mode at the same time.
While engaging with comments under the post, Anita reportedly responded as though she was the woman in the original photo.
However, Caramel later discovered that Anita had removed her head from the picture and replaced it with her own using AI or photo editing.
In a now-viral post, Caramel expressed her shock, noting that Anita doesn’t even follow her or engage with her content, yet went ahead to edit and post her picture publicly.
She pointed out that they don’t follow each other on any platform and don’t know each other, stressing that Anita removed her head from the photo, inserted her own, and posted it publicly.
The incident has sparked mixed reactions online, with some users describing the move as tacky and embarrassing, while others question the motive behind it, especially given Anita Joseph’s ongoing public back-and-forth with her ex-husband’s new girlfriend.
