Former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi has reportedly served Kenneth Okonkwo with the writ of summons in the suit pending before the Onitsha High Court through substituted means.
According to reports, a representative of Obi’s legal team pasted the court documents at Okonkwo’s last known address in Nsukka, in compliance with an order of the court. Photographs were also taken as evidence of service, as directed by the court.
The legal action follows previous public exchanges between the two former political allies. Kenneth Okonkwo had earlier stated that he would “expose” Peter Obi, while Obi has now taken the matter before the court to help Kenneth Okonkwo to expose him
The case is expected to proceed in accordance with the court’s directives, with both parties having the opportunity to present their claims and defenses.
