Dangote Petroleum Refinery on Wednesday, 8 July, 2026 announced the commencement of free delivery of Premium Motor Spirit popularly known as petrolto six states across Nigeria, including the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, while maintaining its ex-depot price of N1,075 per litre, reports thegazellenews.com.
The latest move comes shortly after Dangote Refinery met with stakeholders in Nigeria’s downstream petroleum sector to discuss cost-reflective pricing for petrol.
The engagement ended with stakeholders expressing support for further reductions in fuel prices.
The refinery, which announced the initiative in a notice shared on its official X handle on Wednesday, 8 July, 2026, said the free delivery service covers Lagos, Ogun, Rivers, Kaduna and Delta states, as well as the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
According to the refinery, the offer is available to customers purchasing a minimum of 250,000 litres of petrol.
The company had recently announced its fourth reduction in the gantry price of petrol, bringing it down to N1,075 per litre.
