Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed that he would still have found his way into the entertainment industry even if a music career hadn’t worked out.

Speaking in an interview with Kiss Xtra, the Grammy-nominated singer said his love for show business would have led him to run a record label or a media company.

He said he would probably have ended up as a label owner or running a media house, given how much he has always loved entertainment, adding that even if he were working in his father’s office, he could still see himself running a side business, such as a music label, simply out of his love for music.

Davido also revealed that he holds a BSc in Business Management and could have pursued a corporate career instead.

He said with his degree, he could walk into a place like Barclays and try to get a job, insisting he genuinely could land one, noting that he has a résumé to back it up.

Davido rose to prominence in 2012 with “Dami Duro,” the second single from his debut album “Omo Baba Olowo.”
