Demola Seriki’s 3rd Wife Accuses Wosilat Okoya-Seriki of Ignoring Late Diplomat’s Will, Attempting to Take Over Estate

Fresh controversy has engulfed the family of late Nigerian diplomat, Demola Seriki, as his third wife, Mrs. Sholape Seriki, accused her co-wife, Alhaja Wosilat Okoya Seriki, of disregarding the late diplomat’s will and attempting to take control of his estate.

The allegations emerged in an emotional video after Sholape disclosed that she received a court summons from Wosilat over the ownership of one of Demola Seriki’s vehicles.

She explained that although she had deliberately remained silent since her husband’s death, the legal action left her with no option but to speak out in defence of her children’s inheritance.

According to Sholape, Wosilat has ignored the late diplomat’s wishes by withholding properties and assets meant for her children while allegedly making moves to take possession of the entire estate.

She also alleged that documents relating to some of Demola Seriki’s properties and vehicles were altered after his death in an attempt to strengthen ownership claims. She maintained that she has evidence to back her allegations.

Insisting that the estate belongs to all of the late diplomat’s children, Sholape said she was determined to ensure that her husband’s wishes were respected and that every rightful beneficiary received his or her share.

In an emotional appeal, she called on her late husband to “judge the matter spiritually,” expressing confidence that justice would prevail.

As of the time of filing this report, Alhaja Wosilat Okoya Seriki had yet to publicly respond to the allegations. The claims also remain unverified by an independent authority.
