Chidozie Ugochinyere, the Nigerian singer known as Fave, has released her third extended play (EP), ‘RnBling’.
Chike and Yemi Alade make cameo appearances on the six-track record, which went live on streaming platforms on Wednesday.
The tracks are ‘Dance,’ ‘Drown,’ ‘La La La,’ ‘Miss You’ (with Chike), ‘Paparazzi’ (featuring Yemi Alade), and ‘Body Talk’.
This is the first time Fave has included guest artists on one of her EPs.
The release comes after her 2022 project ‘Riddim 5’ and 2024’s ‘Dutty Love’. In July, the singer hinted at an impending album.
Fave started playing music at church when she was six years old. She began to gain popularity after posting numerous minute-long films on X during the COVID-19 shutdown.
Fave rose to notoriety in 2021 with her breakout single ‘Baby Riddimi,’ which received extensive radio and television broadcast.
She has recently collaborated with Davido on ‘Kante,’ a track from his album ‘Timeless,’ showcasing her characteristic soulful and expressive voice.
Her awards include Rookie of the Year in 2022 and Songwriter of the Year in 2023 for her work on Simi’s single ‘Loyal’.
