Gospel singer Tim Godfrey has written a heartwarming note to Portugal football star, Cristiano Ronaldo.
As the footballer retires from International football, Godfrey took to his Instagram page to celebrate him, noting how he still won the World Cup despite losing the cup.
Tim described Ronaldo as an absolute legend and appreciated him for showing up every day, for teaching the world passion, for being disciplined and dedicated, for sharing his gift with the world, and for being a blessing.

He revealed in his caption that he got emotional upon seeing the award-winning footballer after 15 years, and expressed gratitude to him for forgiving him for all his wrongs when they were in Kwara state and had nothing. He described Messi as the embodiment of humility, and he is glad the footballer is leading by example.
