“Freedom Is Good”- DJ Chicken Opens Up About Life In Prison After Regaining Freedom

Controversial Nigerian disc jockey, DJ Chicken, has spoken publicly for the first time after regaining his freedom following his detention over allegations that he threatened the life of Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu, in connection with the 2027 presidential election.

The entertainer, who recently walked out of the Kirikiri Correctional Centre, expressed gratitude for his release and thanked those he believes contributed to his freedom.

In a viral video circulating on social media, DJ Chicken praised the Nigerian government, President Bola Tinubu, and Seyi Tinubu as he recounted his experience while in custody.

Reflecting on his time behind bars, the DJ said the experience taught him the true value of freedom and made him appreciate everyday privileges that many people often overlook.

Speaking in the video, he said:

“I’m back oo, freedom at last. God bless our government, God bless the Nigerian government, God bless Seyi Tinubu, God bless our president. I love you guys.

It’s not easy, my fans. To be a man is not a day job. When they brought food for me in the prison, I used to cry to God. Bread and beans is even better. They will offer you bread with Coke, things that I don’t eat. People that are free don’t know what God has done for them. Freedom is good.”

DJ Chicken also encouraged Nigerians to cherish their freedom, explaining that only those who have experienced confinement can truly understand how precious it is to move about without restrictions.

His remarks have sparked widespread reactions across social media, with many fans celebrating his release while others shared opinions on his prison experience and the message he delivered after regaining his freedom.
