Businessman and social commentator Isaac Fayose has addressed the widespread reactions trailing a viral video that showed him alongside Seyi Tinubu offering prayers for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The video, which quickly circulated across social media platforms, sparked mixed reactions from Nigerians. While some questioned whether Fayose had shifted his political allegiance, others speculated that his appearance with the President’s son signaled a change in his support for the opposition.
Reacting to the controversy, Fayose dismissed the assumptions, insisting that praying for the nation’s leader does not conflict with his political beliefs.
According to him:
“I’m still Obidient despite praying for President Tinubu last night.”
His statement has since generated fresh conversations online, with many social media users debating whether political affiliation should prevent citizens from praying for those in leadership.
