Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State has appointed retired Major General Bala Isandu as his Special Adviser on Security among other appointments.
This was contained in a statement issued to newsmen by Samuel Jatau, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), on Tuesday.
Isandu replaced retired Brigadier General Gakji Shipi, who has been redeployed as the Coordinator, Safe School Initiative in the state.
Jatau also said that the governor approved the appointment of Brigadier General Nash Yakubu as the Coordinator of Operation Rainbow, a state-owned security outfit.
The governor congratulated the new appointees and urged them to live above board.
He further urged them to bring their wealth of experience to bear towards tackling the security challenges confronting the state.
